Training
The right training is invaluable
What is your perspective on horse training?
Although I believe that no training can make up for an unskilled handler, I know that in the hands of someone who knows what he is doing, or at least really is trying to learn what to do, a well-trained horse is invaluable. In this case the saying is true that horses first teach people and then people horses. So to sum it up as long as you seek to live out "Good, better, best never let it rest, make your good better and your better best." I believe that a well-trained horse will increase your rate of learning at least three fold if not more.
What training services do you offer?
I offer anything for starting horses, finishing them or solving a specific issue you might have. Whether that issue is on the ground or in the saddle, big or small, it doesn't matter. I am here to help you with your horse! As I said I will take on horses with issues like trailer loading, not standing still for the farrier, pulling back when tied... to running of with rider when I ridden, spooking at everything on the trail and simply not being soft and responsive under saddle. Whatever your problem, I will be glad to help you solve it.
What is your training program?
This all depends on the issue the horse has. If it is small it will take anywhere from one day to a week, however issues like "my horse runs off with me whenever I ride him" Might take anywhere from two to four weeks. As I said this really depends on the situation. I will of course give you an accurate estimation of the time it will take as soon as you give me some of the details of the problem.
What are your charges?
For problems that will consume anywhere from a day to a week the charge is $50 a day. However for problems longer then that I charge $125 a week, which includes board, and of course 2-3 hours a day, six days a week of training.
